Tuscaloosa K9 Camp uses cutting edge techniques specifically
designed to get a happy, healthy, well trained pet while having a little fun.
Motivational
training is a very popular technique using lots of treats and praise with very
little or no correction to entice obedience & tricks.
Traditional
training is similar to and in fact uses all the techniques involved in
motivational training, the difference being that corrections are used to help
the dogs understand what behaviors are unacceptable. Based on the dog’s personality, a type of
correction is employed that stimulates a response without causing distress or
upsetting the dog.
With these and many more techniques to
choose from, after a brief evaluation, you and your trainer can choose the
training plan that fits your best friend.

BOARD –N- TRAIN CAMP ~ Your pal
will enjoy all the comforts of our in-home environment, all along learning from
multiple daily training sessions. This option is absolutely necessary for any
specialty training needs. Much less work for you, quick and long lasting
results are just some of the benefits of this form of training.
We have Camps designed specifically for a variety of training options. Obedience Camps are the most popular, designed to include a standard curriculum and customized for personal problem solving.
PRIVATE IN-HOME
LESSONS ~ A great answer for those that can’t get away for
training. Also, for serious home based
behavior issues, solving the problem in the home is usually necessary.
GROUP CLASSES @ THE CAMP ~ Tons of
fun for you and your pet while learning basic obedience together. With games
like Fido Says, Tick-Tack-Paws and Musical Bones, you and your best friend are
sure to have a blast!
